This Gumoil print is 8 x 10 on Fabriano HP paper. A positive laser transparency was used to contact print this image using an emulsion layer of Potassium Dichromate mixed with Gum Arabic. After drying, Artists oil paint was brushed on using a stencil brush and then vigorously rubbed off before etching in bleach.

This Gumoil is 8 x 10 and is printed on Fabriano Artistico. A Van Dyke Brown layer of artists oil paint followed by an etching and a watercolor wash resist.

This is my first Gumoil print; a process similar to Gum Bichromate except that one uses a positive transparency and Artists Oil Paint to create the image. I have printed this image before as a Gum Bichromate which you will see if you scroll down the page. This was printed on Fabriano Artistico Paper.

Gum and Cyanotype Tree

This tree grows in Raleigh, N.C. I have printed it as a cyanotype alone and as a cyanotype with a second printing of gum dichromate. Both prints were done on Montval 140lb CP watercolor paper.
